Three projects in the Shangfang Courtyard have won awards in the “Second Shanghai Municipal Old Housing Renovation and Reconstruction Design Competition.”

The “Shanghai Municipal Design Competition for the Renovation and Reconstruction of Old Residential Housing and the Honghua Cup Quality Project Selection” is a widely influential initiative jointly organized by the Shanghai Municipal Housing and Urban–Rural Development Commission, the Shanghai Municipal Housing Administration, the Shanghai Repair Affairs Center, the Shanghai Survey and Design Industry Association, the Shanghai Housing Construction Industry Association, and the Shanghai Academy of Real Estate Sciences, under the guidance of the Shanghai Municipal Housing and Urban–Rural Development Commission and the Shanghai Municipal Housing Administration. The second edition of this competition was launched on July 1, 2021, receiving registration forms from nearly one hundred design firms, universities, and individual practitioners. Following on-site inspections and centralized Q&A sessions, a total of 118 entries were ultimately submitted. After multiple rounds of expert review, evaluation by the organizing committee, online public voting, and public announcement of results, 45 design works were ultimately awarded.
Our company’s civil defense space renovation project at Lane 43, Meichuan Road, Putuo District has been awarded the Space Function Renovation Award; the renovation and upgrade of old residential buildings in Linfen Community, Jing’an District, combined with the installation of elevators, has been awarded the Elevator Installation Award; and the restoration project of the outstanding historic building at Ni Baosheng’s former residence in Chongming District has been awarded the Other Category Award.
