Getting Closer to Enterprises and Focusing on Service—Secretariat of the Shanghai Surveying and Mapping Association Conducts a Research Visit to the Shanghai Municipal Institute of Architectural Design

　　On the afternoon of July 27, Xin Guoliang, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Exploration and Design Industry Association, together with Deputy Secretaries-General Liu Min and Dai Shunkang, paid a visit to Shanghai Housing Architectural Design Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “SHADI”) for a research tour. The meeting was attended by Shen Zuhong, Chairman and General Manager of SHADI; Wang Xin, Deputy General Manager; Yang Lixin, Chief Architect and Director of the Research Center for Historic Buildings; Jiang Xiaohong, Chief Engineer and Director of the Science and Technology Center; as well as heads of other relevant departments.

　　

 

　　Shen Zuhong, Chairman and General Manager of the Shanghai Housing Research Institute, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the leaders of the Shanghai Surveying and Mapping Association for their visit and guidance. He then provided an overview of the Institute’s development history and key achievements. Established in the 1950s and reorganized in March 1987, the Institute is affiliated with the Shanghai Municipal Housing and Land Resources Administration and was transformed into a limited liability company in 2004. With a current workforce of more than 150 professional and technical personnel, the Institute has grown into a comprehensive Class-A architectural design research institute that offers a full range of specialties, boasts strong technical capabilities, and integrates architectural planning and design, real estate investment planning and consulting, housing engineering research, forensic appraisal, cultural heritage preservation, and other multidisciplinary services. Thanks to continuous enhancement of its professional expertise and the support of the Association, the Institute has achieved steady growth.

　　Secretary-General Xin Guoliang, on behalf of the Shanghai Municipal Survey and Design Industry Association, extended sincere congratulations on Shangfangyuan’s achievements and expressed gratitude for its contributions to Shanghai’s urban development. He also offered several suggestions for Shangfangyuan’s internal development, urging the company to increase exchanges and communication with the Association. The Association, for its part, remains committed to closely monitoring the healthy development of its member organizations and providing targeted services, ensuring that every legitimate concern from enterprises is promptly addressed and that corporate growth is further enhanced.

　　Finally, Chairman Shen Zuhong once again expressed his gratitude for the visit of the association’s leaders. Shangfang Institute will maintain closer ties with the association, support all its initiatives, and contribute to the development of Shanghai’s surveying and design industry.
