The “Renovation Project of the Special Exhibition Hall at the Site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China Memorial Hall” has been awarded the “Centennial·Hundred Events·Hundred People” Commemorative Honor by the Shanghai Association of Exploration and Design.

On the afternoon of June 28, under the guidance of the China Exploration and Design Association, the Real Estate Chamber of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, the China Association for Building Metal Structures, the Design Capital Engineering Design Industry Alliance, and the Yangtze River Delta Exploration and Design Industry Association Alliance, and hosted by the Shanghai Exploration and Design Industry Association, the Shanghai Exploration and Design Industry’s celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China—titled “Transformation: A Century, a Hundred Events, a Hundred People”—was held at Shanghai Fangda Architectural Design Co., Ltd. and the BAC Zhuyuan Art Center.

In accordance with the requirements of the “Notice on Organizing Activities to Celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China in Shanghai’s Survey and Design Industry,” more than 800 application submissions were received. With the rigorous review and active cooperation of the various branch associations, nearly 200 of these submissions were recommended to the Association. The Secretariat then conducted compliance reviews and expert panel evaluations, ultimately selecting 111 outstanding projects and their principal designers that bear a distinct “red” imprint, serve as significant industry landmarks, and have made substantial contributions and exerted considerable influence on the development of the industry. A total of 93 projects were awarded commemorative honors, including the “Renovation Project for the Special Exhibition Hall of the Memorial Hall of the Site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China,” designed by our institute.
